The Department of Physics is one of the oldest and the largest departments in the college and has a long tradition of quality teaching. It has three well-maintained laboratories which have been upgraded recently with new equipments, and a computer laboratory to meet the practical needs of the students.

Efforts are made by faculty members to update the holdings on a year-to-year basis. The Department has a highly qualified and a dedicated faculty. Our students have consistently performed well in the university examinations securing top positions. They have been getting admission in science and other courses of reputed universities in India.
