Overview
Department of Biotechnology was established in the year 2006 under the
Department of Zoology. The department got its own infrastructure and Head of the
Department in 2008. GDC Kathua is one of the five and the best college offering B.Sc
Biotechnology (General) course under Jammu University.
The department was established keeping in view the increasing growth of Biotechnology, it's
applications need and it's emerging scope.
Undergraduate Programme
The Department offers the B.Sc Biotechnology (General) course.
Postgraduate Programmes
Currently no P.G Programme is offered by the department.
